Where are you from? Chinchilla, Australia (yes it’s a real place), but have worked mostly in Newcastle Australia.

Current Locum position?
Band 6 Musculoskeletal O/P Physio

Personal achievements within the role?
Surviving and helping the NHS on a daily basis. Getting an elderly lady on her 4th THR revision back moving better.

What do you enjoy about being a locum?
Freedom to travel, ability to work in a range of different fields, flexibility, meeting new people all the time.

Most memorable moment within your career?
My first patient that vasovagaled on me in ITU… He went down and everything got pulled out…. Scared the heck out of me!

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you take?
1.) A good book
2.) A bottle of Bundaberg rum or a nice scotch
3.) A Football or any other bit of sporting equipment
