Name: Lizzie
Profession: Physiotherapist
Where are you from? Melbourne, Australia
Current Locum position? Community Health, Band 6

What do you enjoy about being a locum? I love the constant challenge and variety you get as a locum.
Most memorable moment within your career? When I was working in paediatrics I once treated a very anxious 8 year old boy who had a chromosomal disorder and had just had surgery on his foot and needed to be taught safe transfers before he was discharged home. This was a very long and difficult session with the patient however at the end when he managed to achieve the transfer with minimal effort he gave me a huge smile and grabbed my hand to pull me close for a big hug to say thank you.
