What do you like about your job?
I enjoy the company of the professional, helpful and friendly staff at Bletchley Neuro rehab unit. I also love the highly motivated and kind clients that I work with. Though their lives are changed due to their different circumstances; I find their ability to keep going on in life is most inspirational and makes me appreciate my career and life more.
In my current role I have the opportunity to share information, teach people to listen to their own bodies, & learn from the situation to make their lives happier.
Personal achievements within your role?
I have had overwhelming compliments from staff, clients and their families, who are thankful for my input toward helping individuals think, move and feel better. From helping someone in moving from the bed to a chair, being able to reach the honey jar on the second shelf, learning to walk again, regaining balance to stand on their own, or helping an individuals’ confidence to tackle their fears. These are achievements which I am most fortunate and proud to be a part of.
How do you unwind from work?
I love catching up with mates while enjoying great food & drinks! I enjoy going to the theatre and I love playing and watching sport. I’m currently playing basketball with the womens Camden Panthers.
