Current position
Band 5 Respiratory Physiotherapist
Personal achievements within the role?
I can’t say I’ve performed any miracles, but to be a help to a busy but very capable team certainly brings a sense of achievement.
What do you enjoy about being a locum?
No day is ever the same. There is always another ward to work on, a different patient to treat and another colleague to learn from.
Most memorable moment within your career?
Though not a single moment, the management of a particular critical care patient comes immediately to mind. It was fantastic to work closely with a dedicated team and contribute to his success. His management was definitely one of the greatest challenges that I have encountered as a physiotherapist, though it was also one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences of my career thus far.
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you take?
1.) Machete
2.) Flint/Fire Starter
3.) Stainless Steel Pot
I’m a practical man haha!
