Each month JustPhysio are proud to recognise one of our locums for their hard work and dedication to the Physiotherapy Service and this month we are delighted to award the Locum of the Month to Anne, our wonderful physio from Liverpool.
Since starting work for JustPhysio, Anne has received nothing but glowing feedback from her placement, who said ‘she is amazing at what she does and has made an immense impact on the team’.
Anne was nominated by our JustPhysio recruitment consultant Dominic who also praised her saying ‘I could not have picked a better person for the role and she is an absolute dream to work with’.

Current Locum position? Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist
Personal achievements within the role? Having recently returned to the UK after some time working abroad in a special needs school, I have been able to apply skills developed overseas to the NHS setting.
What do you enjoy about being a locum? The flexibility of my work/life balance and working with other therapists with different skills and backgrounds.
Most memorable moment within your career? When I was a team lead in Neuro, I worked with a patient on ITU with a Critic Care Myopathy who was extremely unwell and there was some uncertainty as to whether he would survive his ITU admission. He had a young family and his wife was pregnant. After many weeks of working closely with him and his family in the acute setting, he was transferred to a rehabilitation centre. Several months later he came to visit me in the therapy department. He walked in carrying his new baby, said “thank you” and gave me a hug. It is the rapport that is built up when working with complex patients that I love most about being a physiotherapist.
