This month we are pleased to be celebrating the personal achievements and hard work of Physiotherapist, Corinne from Townsville, Australia.
Although Corinne is new to working with JustPhysio, she has proved herself to be very reliable and consistent and is described by our recruitment consultant Theo as “an absolute pleasure to work with”.
This has been echoed in the glowing feedback we have received from her placement, they could not praise her enough for her great work ethic and positive attitude.

Current Locum position? Rehabilitation Case Manager
Personal achievements within the role? I have found that speaking to people and offering assistance following a road traffic accident is very rewarding. The role has allowed me to continue to develop my subjective assessment skills and continue to use my clinical reasoning to justify the need for physiotherapy treatment.
What do you enjoy about being a locum? I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new work places. I enjoy being challenged and a constantly changing atmosphere is great in order to push me out of my comfort zone and develop as a practitioner.
Most memorable moment within your career? Whilst working in Townsville myself and two other colleagues pioneered the first Women’s Health Physiotherapy service in the private hospital. Working in the maternity ward every day and offering advice and assistance to many women was a very rewarding experience. Every person was always grateful for the help and we were able to follow-up with the women in clinics as well which allowed us to offer a complete service and address the gap in the health care system.
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you take?
1.) My Partner
2.) Flint to start fire ( too many years of watching Survivor, fire is everything)
3.) Chocolate (because being stuck without chocolate would be torture)
