Current Locum position?
Band 6 DME Physio
Personal achievements within the role?
Working on a ward with a fantastic MDT including hospital and community social workers to plan complex discharges to allow patients to go home safely, with all the support needed in place for them.
What do you enjoy about being a locum?
I really enjoy the flexibility of locum work – also being able to work within so many great teams allows you to learn new skills from each team and develop them within your own practice.
Most memorable moment within your career?
While working on critical care, I treated a patient with myasthenia gravis for a number of weeks. He was critically ill and required both respiratory physio and rehab every day. My most memorable moment was when he strolled onto the ward to visit us, say thank you and tell us what he’d been up to at home a few weeks later!
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you take?
1.) Unlimited Mojito ingredients
