Salary - £25,000-£33,000 (dependent on exp)

Based in North West London this global company are recruiting for a physiotherapist specialising in Respiratory. The role of the Respiratory Specialist is to improve patient outcomes through providing Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Home Oxygen Assessment & Review and Community-based Respiratory care to patients. The services provided must be integrated with other local services provided in the Public Sector in North West London and provide respiratory expertise and support to local health care professionals.

The successful Respiratory Specialist will be assigned to one part of the service (Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Home Oxygen Assessment & Review or Community-based Respiratory care) however the ideal Respiratory Specialist Physio should be flexible to work across all three parts of the services as required, in order to meet local demand and provide cover as required.

The successful Physio will provide evidence based Pulmonary Rehabilitation to patients by:
-Identifying and recruiting suitable patients to the programme
Conducting initial and final discharge assessments, recording baseline results and goals at the initial assessment and following the programme recording the outcomes for each patient
-Leading Pulmonary Rehabilitation supervised exercise sessions
-Presenting education sessions on a range of topics including understanding the disease, self management, medicine management, managing breathlessness
-Providing discharge reports to the patient and the patients GP

To qualify for this position you must have proven experience working with respiratory patients, be a qualified physiotherapist with HCPC registration and have eligibility to work in the UK.
