JustPhysio are looking to recruit a band 6 Elderly Medical Physiotherapist for a locum position with our client in Derbyshire.

The pay for this position is £20 - £23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on - going duration.

Job Description:
Must have experience working in the NHS. Experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist on Acute Medical/Elderly Wards
Discharge Planning and knowledge of pathways
Working as part of an MDT
Excellent communication skills
Caseload management. Working on Elderly Medicine wards with patients presenting with a variety of multipathologies and dependencies including fast track.
Attend handover and be able to plan and prioritise the day.
Completion of frail elderly assessments, problem solving, carrying out interventions and discharge planning in response to estimated dates of discharge.
Identification and issuing of equipment.
Fast paced and quick turnover of patients
Work closely with Occupational Therapy and be able to delegate to assistants
Liaison with MDT/carers/families
Completion of stats and access to ExtraMed

It is essential for applicants to have a minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience, right to work in the UK and HCPC registration.
